Using the captured packet dump

You can view packets using a ACLI session and the Secondary SF/CPU. Dumping a large
number of captured packets is CPU intensive. The switch does not respond to any commands
while the dump is in progress. Avaya recommends you use this command only when it is
absolutely necessary. However, there is no degradation in normal traffic handling or switch
failover.
Troubleshooting
pcap enable
pcap enable mode rxFilter
address, in Global Configuration mode, use the following command:
vlan mac-address-filter <1-4094> pcap
<0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00> [enable]
Variable
Specifies the MAC address in the format
0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00:0x00.
Specifies the VLAN by VLAN ID.
