Chapter 22: Unicast routing
Use this section to help you troubleshoot Layer 3 unicast routing problems.

Routing and licensing: protocol will not run

Many routing protocols require a license for operation. If a routing protocol will not run, check
that your license is of the correct type, and that it is correctly installed. For more information
about licensing issues, see
The following table describes the license required to use specific features. The Premier license
enables all licensed features on the Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600. For more information
about installing or transferring licenses, see Avaya Ethernet Routing Switch 8800/8600
Administration (NN46205-605).
