Configuring system logging to a PCMCIA or external flash

System logs are a valuable diagnostic tool. You can send log messages to a PCMCIA card (or
external flash on the 8895 SF/CPU) for later retrieval.
Troubleshooting
logging transferFile <1-10> address <A.B.C.D>
logging transferFile <1-10> filename <WORD 0-255>
Variable
Specifies the IP address of the host to where the log file
needs to be transferred. The remote host must be
reachable or the configuration will fail.
Specify the name of the file stored in the remote host. If not
configured, the current log file name is the default.

Important:
Avaya recommends that you do not set this option. If this
option is set, the previously transferred log file is
overwritten on the remote server.
