By default, ping snoop messages are echoed only to the serial console port. If you do not have
access to the serial port and are connecting via Telnet (or other means such as SSH or Rlogin),
to see the messages in your session, enter:
config log screen on
This setting is specific to the CLI session where it is executed. The command does not save
to the configuration file and when the CLI session is closed the setting is removed.
You can use two sessions with this command: in one session, configure the ping snoop
commands, and in the other session, issue the config log screen on command to see
the messages; when done, close the second session.
