Troubleshooting HTTPS

Release 7.1 introduced HTTPS functionality. You can remotely connect to an ERS 8800/8600
switch over a secure connection by pointing a web browser to https://<device IP> [<:port>].
The following sections provide information for troubleshooting HTTPS connectivity issues.
HTTPS configurable port
Beginning with Release 7.1.3, you can change the port assignment for the HTTPS port. Avaya
strongly recommends that you discover the ports that UDP and TCP are already using before
you select a port for HTTPS. Use the following commands to list the ports already in use and
then select a port that is not in the resulting list..
For the CLI, use: show ip tcp info-connections and show ip udp endpoints.
For the ACLI, use: show ip tcp connections.

To check to see if the webserver connection is being accepted
To check to see if the connection to the webserver is being accepted, use trace level 16
