Example
This example shows how to configure port 1 to advertise 1000BASE‐T full duplex:
G3(su)->set port advertise ge.1.1 1000tfd

clear port advertise

Use this command to configure a port to not advertise a specific speed/duplex capability when
auto‐negotiating with another port.
Syntax
clear port advertise {port-string}{10t | 10tfd | 100tx | 100txfd | 1000t | 1000tfd

Select the ports for which to configure advertisements. For a detailed
description of possible port‐string values, refer to "Port String Syntax Used
in the CLI" on page 4‐1.
Advertise 10BASE‐T half duplex mode.
Advertise 10BASE‐T full duplex mode.
Advertise 100BASE‐TX half duplex mode.
Advertise 100BASE‐TX full duplex mode. Refer to "Configuring SFP Ports
for 100BASE‐FX" on page 4‐2 for more information on setting advertised
ability for 100 Mb SFP tranceivers.
Advertise 1000BASE‐T half duplex mode.
Advertise 1000BASE‐T full duplex mode.
Advertise PAUSE for full‐duplex links.
Clear advertisements for specific port(s). For a detailed description of
possible port‐string values, refer to "Port String Syntax Used in the
CLI" on page 4‐1.
Do not advertise 10BASE‐T half duplex mode.
Do not advertise 10BASE‐T full duplex mode.
Do not advertise 100BASE‐TX half duplex mode.
Do not advertise 100BASE‐TX full duplex mode.
Do not advertise 1000BASE‐T half duplex mode.
