This command enables or disables IPv6 forwarding on the router.
Syntax
ipv6 forwarding
no ipv6 forwarding
Parameters
None.
Defaults
IPv6 forwarding is enabled.
Mode
Router global configuration: G3(su)‐>router(Config)#
Usage
The no form of this command disables IPv6 forwarding on the router.
Example
This example disables IPv6 forwarding.
G3(su)->router(Config)# no ipv6 forwarding
ipv6 hop-limit
This command sets the maximum number of IPv6 hops used in IPv6 packets and router
advertisements generated by this device.
Syntax
ipv6 hop-limit hops
no ipv6 hop-limit
