Description
Use the
default, all interfaces except loopback interfaces are able to receive RIP packets.
Use the
packets.
This command is used in conjunction with two other two commands:

rip work
the receipt and the transmission of RIP packets on an interface. The
command allows both receipt and tranmission of RIP packets.
