Setting Offsets
Channel offsets
Specifying a channel offset value allows the N432A to correct every measurement
by this value to compensate for external gain or loss in your test setup. This gain
or loss is applied to the measured power before any mathematical functions,
display offsets, or relative functions are included.
You can use the
[SENSe[1]:]CORRection:GAIN2[:INPut][:MAGNitude] <numeric_value>
command to enter the channel offset value. Entering this value automatically
enables the channel offset. However, it can be enabled or disabled using the
[SENSe[1]:]CORRection:GAIN2:STATe <boolean> command.
For details on these commands, refer to
Commands"
You can only use GAIN2 for external losses/gains. GAIN1 is used specifically for

calibration factors.
Display offsets
A display offset is applied to the measured power after any channel offset or
mathematical functions have been included (refer to
The display offset value can be entered using the
CALCulate[1]|2|3|4:GAIN[:MAGNitude] <numeric_value> command.
Entering this value automatically enables the display offset.
The CALCulate[1]|2|3|4:GAIN:STATe <boolean> command can be used to
enable or disable the display offset.
