STATus Subsystem
The channel A sensor connected bit (bit 1), when queried by
STATus:DEVice:EVENt?, indicates whether a thermistor sensor has been
connected or disconnected depending on the state of the corresponding bits of
STATus:DEVice:NTRansition and STATus:DEVice:PTRansition. If the
corresponding bit in:
– STATus:DEVice:NTRansition is 1, then bit 1 is set when a sensor is
– STATus:DEVice:PTRansition is 1, then bit 1 is set when a sensor is
Querying STATus:DEVice:EVENt? clears the Device Status Event register.
NOTE
The front panel keypress bit (bit 14), when queried by STATus:DEVice:EVENt?
indicates whether any front panel keys have been pressed since power up or since
you last queried the device status register. This bit ignores the :NTRansition, and
:PTRansition registers and a :CONDition? query always returns a 0.
