1 Clear DTC.
PREPARATION:
(a) Connect the hand−held tester or the OBD II scan tool to the DLC 3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON and push the hand−held tester or the OBD II scan tool main switch ON.
(c) Read the DTCs (See page DI−295).
(d) Clear the DTCs (See page DI−295).
CHECK:
Check that MIL is not illuminated.
OK:
MIL is not illuminated

2 Check for short in wire harness.
ECM Connector

Check and repair harness and connector be-
tween combination meter and ECM (See page
IN−30).
