passive-interface (RIP)

Overview
Use this command to block RIP broadcasts on the interface.
Use the no variant of this command to disable this function.
Syntax
passive-interface <interface>
no passive-interface <interface>
Default
Disabled
Mode
RIP Router Configuration or RIP Router Address Family Configuration for a VRF
instance.
Example
Use the following commands to block RIP broadcasts on vlan20:
awplus#
awplus(config)#
awplus(config-router)#
Example
To apply this above example to a specific VRF instance named 'green', use the
(VRF-lite)
following commands:
awplus#
awplus(config)#
awplus(config-router)#
awplus(config-router-af)#
