IP RIP SEND VERSION

ip rip send version
Overview Use this command in Interface Configuration mode to specify the version of RIP
packets sent on an interface and override the setting of the
command. This mechanism causes RIP version 2 interfaces to send multicast
packets instead of broadcasting packets.
Use the no variant of this command to use the setting specified by the
command.
ip rip send version {1|2|1 2|2 1}
Syntax
no ip rip send version
Default RIP version 2 is enabled by default.

Usage This command applies to a specific interface and overrides the version specified by
