Replace:
1. Insert the element and make certain that the O-ring is flush with the PVC
nut before tightening. .
CAUTION: Do not over tighten the PVC nut.
2. Reconnect the wires in their proper positions in the terminal block.
3. Refill the tank with water and check for leaks.
4. Reverse Steps 2 and 1 in the removal procedure above.
3.10 Wet Section Temperature Sensor
The following describes how to remove and replace the temperature sensor.
Tools Required: Adjustable open end wrench
Remove:
1. Turn off and unplug the OLP.
2. Remove the top and side covers.
3. Drain the tank.
4. Using an open end wrench, loosen the PVC nut. Refer to Figure 3-15.
5. Pull the sensor out. Refer to Figure 3-15.
