6. Disconnect the power plugs from the motor. Refer to Figure 4-9.
NOTE: For purposes of replacement, the power sockets are
marked: 1 = red wire; 2 = brown wire. Refer to Figure 4-9.

–4 3/16 " allen screws securing the drive to the system.
7. Disconnect the encoder plug from the motor. Refer to Figure 4-9.
Make note of the orientation for replacement.
8. Cut the two tie wraps on the mesh cable wrap (Velcro) to the right of the
motor. Open the cable wrap.
9. Open the right side panel. See Section 4.2.1, Right/Left Side Covers.

–Inner take-up drive (nip) assembly.
–Motor. –2 power cables; 1=red, 2=brown.
–Encoder cable.
