Testing power converter voltages
At your Current Location

Obtain a dc voltmeter.

Measure the voltage at the test points on the faceplates of both NT2X70 power
converters in the HIE shelf.

The voltages must be within 2% of the nominal values printed on the NT2X70
faceplate. Compare the voltages measured with the following acceptable
voltage ranges:
Test point voltage
+12 V
–12 V
+ 5 V
– 5 V
If test point voltages are
within acceptable range
not within acceptable range

Replace the NT2X70 power converter as Card Replacement Procedures
directs.
When you return to this procedure, go to step 5.
