Replacing a card
At the LCM

Proceed only if you have been directed to this procedure from a step in a
maintenance procedure. Using this procedure independently may cause
equipment damage or loss of service.

WARNING
Static electricity damage
Wear a wrist strap connected to the wrist strap
grounding point on the frame supervisory panel (FSP)
while handling cards. This precaution protects the
cards against damage caused by static electricity.
Remove any cables from the faceplate of the card to be replaced and note the
connector numbers.

Locate the card to be removed on the appropriate shelf if you have not already
done so.
