External Outgoing Call

External Outgoing Call
An outgoing external call is made as follows:
A user dials an external number.
The PBX checks whether the phone number or the phone number
range is specified in the exception numbers (VoIP/GSM routing) and
switched on for the current configuration.
If the phone number is found, the PBX automatically forwards the dial
attempt to the connections set up there, while taking into account the
dialling operations.
If the phone number is not in the list of exception numbers (VoIP/
GSM routing), or it is not enabled for the currently valid configuration,
the system checks whether a preferred exchange line has been
configured.
If no preferred exchange line has been configured, or the preferred
exchange line is a land line connection, the system checks the phone
number, on the basis of the LCR networks (if LCR is configured and
enabled), and then dials it on a land line connection.
Note: The VoIP/GSM routing is performed depending on the
destination number, if the exchange line settings (subscriber, group)
do not prevent this (e.g. exchange line authorisation only for selected
connections, preferred exchange line, call restrictor).
Note: If a call is initiated over a targeted VoIP access point, VoIP/GSM
routing is not carried out.
Note: The special numbers provided by the VoIP provider, for checking
one's account status or dialling, for example, usually do not include a
