Creating a New Provisioning File
Via the Configuration Manager of a COMfortel 1400IP/2600IP/3600IP you
can create a phone configuration and then select the configuration data
which are to be distributed to other phones.
Proceed as follows:
• Using the Configuration Manager
Note: You find the account IDs for the PBX and for the exchange lines
in the file editor under Abonnés (Abo) > Provisioning d'IP > Gestion
des fichiers > Éditer > ID de compte.
1. Open the Configuration Manager of the IP phone via its IP address.
2. Open the page Paramètres > Personal > Backup and reset.
3. In the line Phone configuration under Create backup, click Exporter.
4. Accept the legal notes by entering ok in the entry field at the bottom
right.
5. Click Exporter.
6. Save the *.xml file created in this way on your PC.
7. Open the *xml file with a text editor, e.g. Notepad++.
8. Press Alt 0 in Notepad++ to close the sub-levels to get a better
overview.
9. Select the level which you want to distribute to other phones by
deleting the levels that are not required.
