Remove waste material, for example sand, dust, and chips, if it prevents cable
movement.
• Clean the cables if they have a crusty surface for example from dry release agents.
•
Always use cleaning equipment as specified above! Any other cleaning equipment
may shorten the life of the robot.
•
Always check that all protective covers are fitted to the robot before cleaning!
•
Never point the water jet at connectors, joints, sealings or gaskets!
•
Never use compressed air to clean the robot!
• Never use solvents that are not approved by ABB to clean the robot!
• Never spray from a distance closer then 0.4m!
• Never remove any covers or other protective devices before cleaning the robot!
