Determining the connection type
The combinations of the Ethernet connections are available as shown in the following table.
Ethernet connection
• Ethernet connection
• Third party PLC connection (Ethernet connection)

• MODBUS /TCP connection
• Robot controller connection
• CNC connection (Ethernet connection)
The following shows the applicable combinations of connection types and the number of channels.
Allowable combination of connection types
• Ethernet connection: 2 channels

Determining the channel No.
After determining the connection type to be used, determine the channel Nos. (CH No. 1 to CH No. 2) to be used for
the respective connection types.
There are no special cautions to be attended to for determining channel Nos.
Set the channel No. by selecting [Common]
