DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE FOR POWER INDICATOR LIGHT
Automatic Transmission (Diagnostics)

9 CHECK HARNESS CONNECTOR
BETWEEN TRANSMISSION AND TRANS-
MISSION GROUND.
Measure resistance of harness between
transmission and transmission ground.
Connector & terminal
(T4) No. 16 — Transmission ground:
10 CHECK POOR CONTACT IN CONNEC-
TORS.
Step
Is the resistance less than
1 Ω?
Is there poor contact in
control module power sup-
ply and ground line?
AT-34
Check Yes
Go to step 10.
Repair connector.
No
Repair open cir-
cuit in harness
between transmis-
sion and transmis-
sion ground.
Replace TCM.
