This command is used to enable the sending of SNMP notifications for DoS attacking. Use the no
command to disable the sending of SNMP notifications.
snmp-server enable traps dos-prevention
no snmp-server enable traps dos-prevention

By default, this feature is disabled.
Command Mode
Global Configuration Mode.
Command Default Level
Level: 12.
Usage Guideline
When DoS prevention is enabled, every five minutes, the switch will log the event if any attack packet is
received in this interval. Use this command to enable or disable the sending of SNMP notifications for
such events.
