INSPECTION OF DP SYSTEM
1. WARM UP ENGINE
2 . CHECK IDLE SPEED

CHECK DP SETTING SPEED
tel Maintain engine speed at
3.000
rpm.

Pinch the vacuum hose between OP and
VTV.
(c) Release the throllle valve.
Cdl Check that the DP is set .
DP .. ltlng speed: 2.000 rpm
If notal specified speed, edjust with the DP adjusting bolt.
4. CHECK OPERATION OF VTV
tal Set I he DP speed In the same procedure as above; tal

lbl Release the pinched hose and check thai the engine
returns to idle speed in about 1 second.
IF NO PROBLEM IS FOUND WITH THIS INSPECTION, THE SYS·
TEM IS OKAY: OTHERWISE INSPECT VTV
