INSTALLATION OF CYUNDER HEAD
1. INSTALL EGR COOLER
2. APPLY SEALER TO CYLINDER BLOCK
tal Apply seal packing to the two locations shown.
Seal pecking: Part No. 08828-00080 or equivalent
(b) Pl ace a new head gasket over the dowels on the
cylinder block.
3. INSTALL CYUNDER HEAD
tal Position the cylinder head over dowels on the blo<:k.
lbl Using SST, install and tighten the head bolts gradu·
ally in three passes end in the sequence shown. Tor-
que the bolts on the f inal pass.
SST 09043-38100
Torque: 800 kg-em (68 It-lb. 78 N·ml
4. INSTALL NO. 2 TIMING BELT COVER
tal Position a new gasket on the cylinder head.

6. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE REGULATOR
(a) Position a new gasket on the cylinder head.
(b)
Install the oll pressure regulator with three bolts.
(c) Install the timing belt cover stay with two bolts.
6. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING PULLEYS AND TIMING BELT

7. INSTALL EXHAUST MANIFOLD
(a) Position a new gasket on the cylinder head.
(bl Install the exhaust manifold with seven nuts. Torque
the nuts.
Torque: 400 kg-em 129 ft·lb. 39 N•ml
