DISASSEMBLY OF PROPELLER SHAFT
1. SEPARATE PROPELLER SHAFT AND
INTERMEDIATE SHAFT
(a)
Place matchmarks on the flanges.
(b) Remove the four bolu and nuu.

REMOVE CENTER SUPPORT BEARING FROM
INTERMEDIATE SHAFT
(a) Using a hammer and chisel, loosen the staked
port
of
the nut.
(b) Using SST to hold the flange, remove the nut.

(c) Place alignment marks on the flange or yoke
and
shaft.
(d) Clamp the flange or yoke in a vise and tap off tilt
shalt.
