INSTAll 0-RING ON OVERDRIVE CASE
24. INSTALL CONVERTER HOUSING
Install the two 12·mm bolts at B and four 1 O·mm bolts II
A and tighten them.
TO<que: A bolts 345 kg-em (25 ft-lb, 34 N•m)

25. IN STALL RA CE ON OVERDRIVE CLUTCH
Install the thrust w asher, facing the lip side outward.
26. INSTAll THRUST BEARING ON FRONT OIL PUMP
Coat the thrust washer with petroleum jelly and instaldw
washer side toward tho pump body together with 1ht
bearing •
27. INSTA Ll FRONT Oil PUM P
(a) Install the oil pump gently through the two guide
pin$,
being careful that tho thrust washer does not fall
out.
(b) Coat tho fi ve set bolts w ith seal pac. k ing and
finger
tighten them.
(c) Using a screwdriver, remove the SST, and install the
two set bolts coatad with seal packing.

(d) Tighten the sot bolts gradually and uniformly.
