{e) Install the new bearing and o il seal.
(d) Install the snap ring.
4. PINION LOWER BEAR ING
(a) Remove the bearing with brass bar.
(b) Install a
new
bearing.
5. TE FLON RING ANO 0 -RING
(a) Remove the teflon ring and O·ring.
(b) Install a new O"ring .
(e) Install a
new
teflon ring to SST and install it

the steering reek.

{d) Coat the teflon ring with power steering fl uid
and
snug it down with your fingers.
(e) Carefully
slidt
the tapered end of SST over thettftot
ring to seat the ring.

NOTE: Make sure the seal is uniformly spaoed around
the perimeter of the piston .
