11. REMOVE PULSATION DAMPER AND NO. 1 FUR PIPE
12. REMOVE WATER OUTLET HOUSING

Loosen the clamp and disconnect the w ater by-pass
hose.
Remove the two bolts and remove the outlet housing .

REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
Remove the eight bolts and two nuts holding the intake
manifold and remove the intake manifold and gasket.
14. REMOVE POWER STEERING PUMP FROM BRACKET
(el Remove the PS pump pulley w il h tho drive bell.
(bl Remove lhe PS pump slay.
lcl Remove the PS pump from the bracket .
(d) Lay the PS pump to one side w ithout disconnecting
the hoses.
16. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD
fa) Remove the five nuts and the two heat insulators.
(b) Remove seven nuts and the exhaust manifold.
16. REMOVE TIMING BELT AND CAMSHA" TIMING
PULLEYS (See steps 9 to 13 on pave EM· 121
17. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE REGULA TOR
fa) Remove the two bolts and the t iming belt cover stay.
{b) Remove
the
three bolts end the oil pressure regulatOf
and gasket.
18. REMOVE NO. 2 TIMING BELT COVER
Remove the three bolts and two nuts and the No. 2 timir\g
bell cover and gasket.
