PRECAUTIONS
1. Always usa new gaskets when replacing the

2 . When re-lnstolling. be sure t o Include tho
rubber

tors on the upper surfaces of the fuel tank a nd tank band.
3 . Apply the proper torque t
o ell tightening
parts.
INSPECT FUEL LINES AND CONNECTIONS
(a) Inspect the fuel lines for cracks, leakage or connee·
dons or defo,mation.
(bl Inspect tho fuel tonk vapor vent system hoses and
connections for looseness. sharp bends or damage.
(c) Inspect the rue! tank for deformation. cracks, ruelloak·
age or t snk band looseness.
(d) Inspect the inle t pipe for damage or fuel leakage.
(e) Hose and tube connections are as shown in the illua·
tration.
If problem is found, repair or repC.Ce the pa rts as necessary.
