OIL PRESSURE CHECK
1. CHECK OIL QUA LITY

Check the oil for deterioration, entry of water, discolorq
or
thinning .
If the quality is
poor,
chenge the oil.
Use API grade SF or SF ICC mul tigrade, fuel -efficient
ani
recommended viscosity oil.

2. CHECK OIL LEVEL
The oil level should be between the L end F merl<s on

level gauge. If low, check f orleakage and add oil up to tho
F mark .
3. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH OR SENDER GAUGE

INSTALL OIL PRESSURE GAUGE
5. START ENGINE
Start engine and warm It up to normal operating tem-
perature.
8. MEASURE OIL PRESSURE
Oil preuure:
At Idle speed M ore than 0 .3 kg/em'
(4.3 pel, 29 kPal
At 3,000
rpm
2.6 - 6.0 kg/em'
138 - 71 psi. 246 - 490 kPal
NOTE: Check for oil leakage after reinstalling the oil pres-
sure switch or sender gauge.
