NOTE: If replacing a standard size bearing w ith a stan·
dard oil clearance. replac.t with one having the same num·
ber. If the number of the bearing cannot be determined,
select a bearing from the table below according to the num·
bers imprinted on the connecting rod cap end crankshaft.

18. PUSH OUT PISTON AND CONNECTING ROD ASSEM8l Y
(a) Remove all ttle c.arbon from top of the bore to the top
of t he cylinder.
lbl Cover the rod bolts w ith a short piece of hose to pro·
teet the crank pin from damage.
lcl Push the piston and connecting rod assembly out
through the top of the cylinder block.
ldl Arrange the pistons and connecting rod caps in order.
