29. ENGINE DRIVE BELTS
Check oil drive bolts fo r fraying, cracks, wear
or oiliness.

ENG INE OIL LEVEL
Chock the lwei on tho dipstick wit h tho
engine turned off.

POWER STEERING FLUID LEVEL
Chock t he level on the dipstick.
The level should bo ln tho " HOT" or "COLD"
range depending on tho fluid temperature.

AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID
LEVEL
(o) Porlc tho vehicle on • levelaJrfaco.
(b) With tho engine idling and tho perking
brake applied,
shift
the •lector Into oil
positions from " P" to "L", and then
shift into
"P".
(c) Pull out tht d ipstick ond wipe off the
fluid with

cloon reg. Re-insert the dip-
stick ond check thtt the fluid level Is In
the " HOT" range.

normal driving temperature
