Remove the
bolts
and remove the vacuum pipe end ground
strap.
REMOVE DISTRIBUTOR FROM CYUNDER HEAD

Remove the hlgh·tension cord cli p bolt. leaving the
wires attached to the clips.

Disconnect the high tension cord by puling on the plug
boot.

Remove the dislributor holding bolt.
ldl Remove the distributor from the cylinder head w ith
the cap end w ires.
REMOVE SPARK PLUGS
DISCONNECT FOLlOWING WIRES:
(a)
Cold
start injector wire
l bl
Water t emp. sensor w ire
(c)
Start injection time switch w ire
(d ) Water
temp. sending unit wire
(a)
Throttle position sensor w ire connector
(f) ISC valve wire connectors
DISCONNECT COLD START INJECTOR FUI:L HOSE FROM
DEliVERY PIPE
9. REMOVE AIR INTAKE CHAMBER
(at Remove t he five bolts and two nuts.
lbl Loosen the nut o f the EGA pipe.
(c) Remove

air intake chamber alld gasket.
10. DISCONNECT EFI WIRE HARNESS FROM ECU
(a) Remove the glove box.
lbl Remove the ECU.
tel Discormect the three connectors.
(d) Pull out the EFI w ire harness out through the cowl
panel.
