20. REPLACE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID
(a)
Remove the drain plug
and
drain the fluid.
(b)
Reinstall the drain p lug securely.
(c) With the engine OFF , edd new fluid through the dip·
stick tube.

Drain and refill capacity:
2.4 liters (2.5 US qts, 2.1 Imp. qu)
Dry fill capacity:
6.51iters (6.9 US

{d) Start the engine and shift the selector into all posi·
tions from "P" through "L", and then shift into "P".
{e) With the engine idling, check the fluid level.
Add fluid up to the "COOL" level on tile dipstick.
CAUTION: Do not overfill.
