INSTALLATION OF DISTRIBUTOR
1. INSTALL DISTRIBUTOR AND SET TIMING
Cal Tum tho crankshaft pulley until tho timing mark ia
aligned with tho TDC mark.
(bl Remove the oil filler cop.
(cl Make sure thot the match hole on the No. 2 journal
of the camshaft housing ia oligned
with
that of the
camshaft.
NOTE: If not, turn tho cronkshaft one full turn .
(dl Install the new 0-<ing to the distributor.
NOTE: Alway& uso a now 0-<ing when installing tho dis·
tributor.
Cel Align the match mort. of the distributor (the drill mark
on spiral gear) with that of distributor housing.

distributO<, aligning tho center of
flange
with
that of the bolt hole of cylinder head .
(g) Align t he
totO<
tooth with the pickup coil.
lhl Temporarily Install the distribut or set bolt.
Iii
Install the distributO< cap w ith wires.
Ul Connect the distributO< connector.
lkl Install the oil f iller cap.
