INSTALLATION OF ENGINE
1, INSTALL TRANSMISSION TO ENGINE
(e) Install the transmission housing mount bolts end tK·

(b) Install the starter wlth the mount nuts.
2. INSTALL ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION IN VEHICLE

on the engine.
(b) Lower the engine Into th o engine compartment.

ldl Install the engine mounting bolts on each side of the
engine.
Ce) Remove the hoist chain.
3. RAISE VEHICLE

4. INSTALL ENGINE REAR SUPPORT MEMBER WITH
GROUND STRAP TO BDOY
6. INSTALL INTERME. O IATE SHAFT TO PROPELLER SHAFT

INSTALL POWER STEERING GEAR HOUSING
(a) ln.stall the geer housing with two brackets.
T- : 770 kg-em (58 fNb, 78 N·ml
(b) Connect the tut rod ends and install a new eotter pin.

lei Install the sliding yoke and t wo lock bolts.
7. CONNECT BATTERY GROUND STRAP TO ENGINE
MOUNTING BRACKET
8. INSTALL STIFFENER PLATE WITH GROUND STRAP
9 . CONNECT FUEL HOSE AND TUBE
lal Main tube to fuel filter.
!b) Return hose to fuel hose support.
