8 . IF NECESSAR Y, CHARGE SYSTEM WITH ANOTHER
CONTAINER
7.
(a) When the refrigerant conteiner is empty. close the
pressure vatvn.
(b) Remove the container tep velva from the container.
(c) Attach the conteiner tep valve to a new refrigerent
container.
(d) Pu191 the air from t he center hose by beroly opening
the low pressure valve and loosening the valve disc .
(e)
Make a hole in the sealed tap of the new container
and charge the system.

Be careful not to overch«go tho

and belt.
WHEN SYSTEM IS FULLY CHARGED, DISCONNECT
MANIFOLD GAUGE SET
(a) Close both low and high pressure valves.
(b)
Close velve at refrigerant container. If using one
pound container$ of R-12, allow remaining refrigerant
to...._ by slowly removing the cha191line.
(e)
Turn off the engine.
(d) Using
a
shop reg, quickly rern011e both hoses from tho
compressor
serv~
valves.
WARNING: Care must be !liken to protact eyes lnd skin
when nomoving tho high prossuN hose.
(e) Put the cap
nuts on the
MNk:e valve finingo.
