9 . INSTALL POWER STEERING PUMP ONTO BRACKET
(I)
Install tha
PS
pump and stay.
(b)
Instill the PS pump pulley with the drive belt.
(c) Adjust the belt tenaion by prying until the specllled
belt tension is obtained . !See page MA-41
(e) Tighten tha idler pulley nut end edjustlng bolt.
10. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD
(a) Position • new galkot on the cylinder heed.
(b) Install thllntoke monifold
with
eight bolts and two
nuts. Torque the bolts end nuts.
Torque: 180 ke-<:m (131t ·lb. 18 N·ml

ECU
12. INSTALL WATl!A OUTLET HOUSING
lal Install the w ater outlet housing w ith two bolts.
lbl Connect the water by·pass hose and tight..., the
clamp.
13. INSTALL NO . 1 FUEL PIPE AND PULSAT10N DAMPER
lal Finger tighten the pulution damper end union bolt
with new gaskets on tho fuel pipe.
-"" (bl Tighten the fuel pipe, bei ng careful not to bend it.

new gasket on the intaJc.e manifold.
lbl lnstaU the air chamber with five bolts end two nut s.
Tor que the bolta and nuts.
(el Tighten the nut of the EGR valve connecting pipe.

ln.stall the new gaaket. full hose, another gasket and un·
ion bolt to the delivery pipe.
