32 . AFTER INSTA LLING EXTEN SION HOUSING. CHECK
FOLLOWING ITEMS:
(al Check to see that input shalt and output shalt rotttt
smoothly.
(bl Check to see that shifting can be made smoothly to
all positions.
33. INSTALL RESTRICT PINS
C al Install the restrict pins t ogether w ith a gasket .
NOTE: Install the black pin on the reverse gear and Sdl
gear side.
(bl Torque the restrict pins.
Torque: 41 0 kg·cm (30 lt·lb, 40 N•ml
34 . INSTALL CLUTCH HOUSING
C al Install the clut ch housing.
(bl Install and torque the bolts.
TO<que: 375 kg·cm (27 fHb. 37 N·ml
35. INSTALL RELEASE FORK AND BEARING
Apply molybdenum disulphide lithium b ase grease to tho
following parts:
• Release bearing hub inside groove
• Input shaft spline
• Release fork contact surface
38. INSTALL SHIFT LEVER RETAINER
(al Install the shift lever retainer with a new gasket.
(bl Install and torque t he si x bolts.
