34. CHECK OPERATION OF PARKING LOCK PAWL
Make sure the planetary gear out put shah is locked when
the manual valve lever is in "P" range.
35. INSTAll NEW 0 -RING ON THROTTLE CABLE FITTING
36. INSTAl l THROTTLE CABLE IN CASE
Push t he cable t hroogh the case. being careful not ~
damage the 0 -ring. Check for full seating.
CAUTION: In subsequent work. be careful not to roll tht
case over the cable and break the cable flttlng .
37. INSTALL ACCUMULATOR PISTON AND SPRINGS
38. PLACE VALVE BODY ON TRANSMISSION
M ake sure the accumulator pist ons are pressed fully into
the bore. Align the manual valve with the pin on the manual
shift lever. and lower valve body into place.
39. LIFT SIDE OF VALVE BODY AND ATTACH THROTIU
CABLE
!al While holding the cam down w ith your fingers.

the cable end into the slot.
