ASSEMBLY OF DIFFERENTIAL CASE

1. WASH DIFF ERENTIAL CASE ASSEMBLY
Wash the d ifferential case and bolts with trichiOrotlhv·
lene.
NOTE: Other cleaning solwnt may be used if it has tho
same degreasing effect as trichloroethylene.
2. INSTALL FOLLOWING PARTS ON TO DI FFERENTIAL
CASE
NOTE: Coat the parts with gear oil for LSD.

Adjusting washer
NOTE:
Face the oil groow toward the clutch
plate.
• Thrust washer No. 2
• Thrust washer No. 3
• Side gear
• Clutch member thrust washer
NOTE : Face the oil groove toward the clutch member.
• Clutch member LH
• Clutch member spring
• Clutch member RH with pinion gear
3 . INSTALL FOLLOWING PART ONTO DIFF ERENTIAL
CASE COVER
• Adjusting washer
NOTE : Face the oil groove toward the clutch p late.
• Thrust washer No. 2
• Thrust washer No. 3
• Side gear
• Clutch member thrust washer
NOTE: Face the oil groove toward the clutch member.
Align the marks on the ase and case cover.
