tween the terminals and t he VSV body .
II there is cont inuity, replace the VSV.
3.
CHECK FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
Using an ohmmeter. measure the resistance between the
terminals.
Specified reaiatonct :
38 -

If the res-istance is Mt within specification, replace the
vsv.
INSPECTION OF EGR VALVE
1. REMOVE EGR VALVE
Check the valve lor sticking and heavy carbon cleposits.
