18. Assemble the front wiper arm assembly (1) to the
wiper motor shaft (2) and the pivot mount shaft (3).
The wiper blade should be parallel with the left side
of the windshield.

19. Assemble the washers (4) and acorn nuts (5) to the
pivot shaft (3) and the motor shaft (2). Tighten both
securely.
20. Assemble the washer hose (6) onto the hose
connector on the wet kit adapter (7).
21. Connect the negative (-) battery cable (8) at the
battery negative (-) terminal on the battery in the
engine side battery box.
22. Connect the negative (-) battery equalizer cable (9)
at the bottom of the battery equalizer (10). Torque
the nut to a maximum of 100 lbs/in (11 Nm).
23. Replace engine side battery box cover (11). Use the
wing nuts (12) and carriage bolts (13) to secure the
cover in place.

24. Turn ignition switch (14) to the RUN position (15),
and operate windshield wiper in both ON and WASH
positions to ensure proper operation and that correct
wiper travel is achieved. Turn the ignition switch (14)
to the OFF (16) position.

25. If previously removed, install hydraulic hoses under
the dash. (Refer to Section 9.12.7, "Service Brake
Valve." or Section 9.12.8, "Power Steering Valve.")
