7. If reinstalling an axle previously removed from the
vehicle, position the driveshaft (1) yoke on the
axle (2) according to the alignment marks made
earlier. If installing a new axle, note the position of
the driveshaft yoke at the transfer case (3). Align the
driveshaft yoke on the axle (2) in the same plane as
the yoke on the transfer case (3).

8. If the steer angle adjustment spacers were removed
during internal service and repair procedure, re-
insall the spacers and re-adjust the steer angle.

9. Install the wheel and tire assemblies.
10. Install wheel lug nuts. Be sure to install the
lockwashers (4), with narrow side toward the rim,
under the lug nuts (5).
11. Use the torque sequence diagram (A - K), to
alternately check the torque of each of the ten lug
nuts. The recommended torque is 430-470 lb/ft
(583-637 Nm).
