ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER

The Cummins 4BTA 3.9 serial number (1) is stamped on
the front of the engine block, near the fan pulley. Informa-
tion contained in the serial number is required in corre-
spondence with the engine manufacturer.
Supply the engine serial number and/or data tag informa-
tion when communicating about an engine or engine
components.
