Note: ALWAYS use new o-rings when servicing the
vehicle.
28. Install new o-rings into the fittings. Lubricate the o-rings
with clean hydraulic oil.
29. Connect the four steering valve hoses (1-4).

30. Connect the horn switch wiring connector (5).
31. Connect the ground wires (6 and 7). Use one
1/4-20 x 1-1/4" capscrew (8 and 9), two 1/4" external
tooth lockwashers (10 and 11), one 1/4" flat washer
(12 and 13) and one new 1/4-20 elastic locknut
(14 and 15) on each of the two side plates
(16 and 17) of the steering column support (18).
Make sure the order of the hardware is as shown.
One of the external tooth lockwashers should be
against the side plates and the other should be under
the flat washer.

32. With the dash panel (19) tipped into the cab, route
the flexible hose (20) from the upper tube on the vent
manifold over the steering column support and over
to the left side of the dash. Push the flexible hose
onto the retainer half of the ball vent (21) and secure
in place with a tie wrap (22).
