6. Label and remove the cab harness connectors
(15 and 16) from the connectors on the two pumps
(17 and 18) on the wiper washer reservoir (13).

7. Remove the both windshield washer hoses
(19 and 20) from the bottoms of the pumps
(17 and 18) on the wiper washer reservoir (13).
8. Remove the wiper washer reservoir (13) from the
vehicle.

b. Disassembly
DO NOT disassemble the pump. The pump is not
serviceable. Replace pump if found to be defective.
c. Cleaning and Drying
Without submerging the pump, clean the pump and
reservoir with an approved solvent and dry with a clean,
lint-free cloth.
d. Inspection and Replacement
Inspect the electrical terminals for continuity. For addi-
tional information, refer to Section 10.7.29, "Front Wiper/
Washer Circuit and Troubleshooting." or Section 10.7.30,
"Skylight Wiper/Washer, Rear Washer Circuit and Trou-
bleshooting."
e. Installation and Testing
1. Connect the clear washer hose (19), from the front
wiper, to the front washer pump (17) on the wiper
washer reservoir.
2. Connect the clear washer hose (20), from the
skylight and rear wipers, to the rear washer
pump (18) on the wiper washer reservoir.
3. Connect the cab wiring harness connectors
(15 and 16) to the connectors on the two pumps
(17 and 18) on the wiper washer reservoir (13).
Note: ALWAYS replace elastic locknuts with new elastic
locknuts to help ensure proper fastening.
4. Install the wiper washer reservoir w/pump using two
capscrew (10), flat washers (11) and elastic locknuts
(12) to secure it to the engine panel (14).
5. Fill the washer fluid reservoir with washer fluid.
6. Connect the negative (-) battery cable (1) at the
battery negative (-) terminal on the battery in the
engine side battery box.
7. Connect the negative (-) battery equalizer cable (2)
at the bottom of the battery equalizer (3). Torque the
nut to a maximum of 100 lbs/in (11 Nm).
8. Replace engine side battery box cover (4). Use the
wing nuts (5) and carriage bolts (6) to secure the
cover in place.
9. Turn the ignition switch (7) to the RUN position (8)
and press the washer switch. Verify that fluid is
sprayed on both the windshield, roof and rear glass.
Turn the ignition switch (7) to the OFF (9) position.
