Before troubleshooting any
electrical circuit, ALWAYS
begin by checking the
following:
1. All connections relating
to circuit are clean and
tight

LMI display does not
illuminate.
Check 3 amp fuse.
If OK
Check wire 134 for voltage
output of 24-27.5 volts.
If OK
Check ground wire 2J for
proper ground and wires 166
and 168 for voltage.
Blower motor inoperative at
any speed.
Check 25 amp fuse.
If OK
Check wire 142 to splice 125
for voltage. Check for voltage
from splice 125 to wire 142A
to blower switch.
If OK
Check output voltage from
blower switch on wires
156 (L), 157 (M) and 158 (H).
If OK
Check resistor pack.
If OK
Check J78 to blower motor for
voltage. Check wire 2QQ for
proper ground
Electrical System
Replace axle strain
Not
transducer.
OK
If OK
Replace LMI display unit.
Not
Replace switch.
OK
Not
Replace resistor.
OK
If
Replace blower motor.
