b. Attachment Tilt Mode Switch Disassembly
DO NOT disassemble the attachment tilt mode
switch (1). Replace a defective or faulty switch.

c. Attachment Tilt Mode Switch Inspection and
Replacement
Inspect the switch terminals for continuity and shorting in
all three switch positions. Replace a defective or faulty
switch.
d. Attachment Tilt Mode Switch Installation
1. Pull the wire harness connector (2) through the dash
(9). Line up the tab on the harness connector (8) and
the pin (7) on the attachment tilt mode switch (1) and
snap the two pieces together.

2. Slide the attachment tilt mode switch back onto the
bank of switches and then snap the whole bank of
switches into the mounting hole in the dash (9).
3. Connect the negative (-) battery cable (10) at the
battery negative (-) terminal on the battery in the
engine side battery box.

4. Connect the negative (-) battery equalizer cable (11)
at the bottom of the battery equalizer (12). Torque
the nut to a maximum of 100 lbs/in (11 Nm).
5. Replace engine side battery box cover (13). Use the
wing nuts (14) and carriage bolts (15) to secure the
cover in place.

6. Clear the area around the vehicle of personnel and
any obstructions to vehicle travel.
7. Start the engine, and check the operation of the
attachment tilt mode switch functions with the switch
in both positions.
